tempted to go for the US rainforest deals, take it those that used those US address verification had no problems, right? Really just checks the address and that it. Think i can go with paypal ?

Hitman: Absolution Steam weekend deal.

£10.19p Standard

£13.59 Prem

Worth a punt- love all of the others???

Worth it for that price, just don't expect it to be a 'true' Hitman game. It's very much a "go from point A to point B" game now, as opposed to the freedom you had in the previous games in exploring each level and figuring out how you'd perform the hit.

It'll probably make you want to go back and play the other games, more than anything.

Thanks! Used my $5.00 promotion from when I purchased the Darksiders franchise at Christmas.

I was considering Deadlight for a fiver or so around Christmas so that plus 4 other games for less is a steal :)

All keys activated fine, I used this billing address (I got it from these forums previously):

that is a great deal, MOTN is easily one of last years best games, think i'll try setting up a US account.

I take it, that i cant just use my CC can i?

right, so just add an address to existing account, and dont make a new Amazon account then?

Yes, as posted previously:

To purchase digital games from Amazon US, use your UK Amazon account, and add a US billing address to your account. This address needs to be a valid US address, but nothing will be sent there, and you can access all your games through their website. Some card issuers may charge a fee (personally nationwide has charged me no more than 10p).

I use an alaskan hotel address as its a state that doesn't incur tax.

So you can't wander round now trying to find out the best way? Or carry out the hit in several different ways?

The way I used to play Hitman was by carrying out the hit in a brutal scrappy manner, then gradually working out sneakier ways of doing it until I could be in and out without anyone even realising.

Is this not the case with Hitman Absolution?

IF not which is the best one to get, I haven't played any of them since Hitman 2 :D

Technically you can, it's just that the level design and the way the disguise system works (or doesn't, as the case may be) means that instead of being able to walk around relatively unhindered whilst you explore the level and find items that might be of use, you're constantly having to duck for cover (literally) to avoid being spotted or having an enemy see through your disguise even when you're not doing anything suspicious.

This means that you're often just trying to get the hit done as quickly as possible so you can get out of there without being spotted, instead of being able to take your time a bit. There are large areas on some of the maps that I simply didn't get to see because diverting or backtracking to explore them would have just meant more hassle. I guess that means it has some replay value, but I personally prefer to explore as much as I can the first time.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it and it's a good game, it just isn't a 'true' Hitman game.

Thinking of getting mark of the ninja, seems a bargain.

When you change your billing address on amazon, does it keep the old one? or is it a case of having to type your original billing address back in once you complete the purchase.
