Im thinking about ordering the Benq XL2411T and i was just wondering what peoples opinions on it and would it be worth paying the extra £100+ on this monitor over a 2ms 60hz. Running a single GTX 670 2gb

What do you intend to do with the monitor? With that GPU there should be a bit of headroom for over 60fps in a number of titles (and perhaps a sustained 144fps in others). Either way if fast-paced gaming is your focus then the XL2411T is certainly worth the extra. :)

Its mostly for MMO and FPS gaming , also another question would it be best to purchase an expensive DVI lead for it or a displayport cable ? also if i decide later to buy a 60mhz one could anybody recommend one ?

Placed next to my Hazro, I'd say the colours are fairly horrible. But the benefits (gaming wise) are enough for me to leave the hazro turned off the majority of the time. It's a brilliant monitor for the money.

Can I ask what the picture quaility is like on the BenQ 120mhz screens?

Depends what approach you have.

The image is bright, sharp and vibrant so if you just like something that looks shiny you'll be happy as anything. For purely gaming purposes its not a problem at all.

For those who are a bit more picky about color accuracy and/or planning on extended desktop useage tho its honestly not that great - my opinion of it being:

Backlight hue is "un-natural" quite harsh icey blue - again you don't really notice it for gaming but other useage its quite tiring on the eyes (tho some people will be more sensitive to it than others).

Hard to get a good color balance - fine turning one aspect knocks out another, blues especially aren't very accurate with too much of a red component - balancing this out results in too much green in mid-tones or alternatively if you sort that for some reason you end up with too much blue in areas of white.

End of the day tho theres a reason why I use the XL2420T for gaming and keep another panel on my desk for desktop useage.

No hesitation my friend, get it!!!

Purchased last week as an upgrade from my Stock HP 2211x 60hz. You'll never look back...

Just orded it :) missed the next day delivery by 2 minutes but they said it should still be here tomorrow if not first thing Wednesday :)

Is this monitor OK for long duration of desktop use, I do atleast 4 hours a day in one sitting for work, and many more hours after of general browsing. I game often too, but mainly rts games. I've read this is more for the fps gamer which I do play but not as often. I have a GTX 670, it should be powerful enough.

Then again I guess any monitor is an upgrade from my 5 year old LG 1680x1050. I just don't want to get headaches when i'm working.
