Hey all, can anyone suggest any good compressed air cans or solutions that will provide a big enough punch to blow any settled dust inside fans etc? I dont need a link to any of them just some suggestions please as unless i'm being blind OcUK's stock in this area is a little limited :( thank you for the help :)

Dust Off is what i've used in the past and it's been great for getting the annoying dust on my fans off pretty easy :)

I use the workshop compressor with air nozzle .... with care :D I 'brake' each fan with a screwdriver so as not to over speed them and possibly do damage. Cleans the case out a treat.

But to answer your question you can buy compressed air cans from the office supply company that also sells 'staples' ;) I use it more for keyboards and such but they seem up to the job. Don't have one to hand for the make of the can. Used to Kenair cans from the camera shop that has recently gone bust and they too do the job.

Ahh thank you both for the suggestions :D I was looking at prices of compressed air, then I look at the Datavac again and convinced myself it will pay for itself after a year of good use, so I "splashed out" a bit and decided to buy the Datavac ED-500, that should blast the dust more than enough! :D haha

Post a little review here when you've got it and have used it on your case :) I'm interested to see how it performs as i may invest in one if it will be worth it in the long run!

+1 on that, would love a review on this, as i really want to move away from using Compressed Air Cans, they are a pain in the backside, loose power after a few seconds :(
