Fastest single gpu on the planet for under £350? Damn that's cheap.

I can't see how this would be faster than a 670 with the same clock speeds:

....it's just occured to me that this may have been a typo, and you meant £250 :p

EDIT: I'm a dumb fool (self inflicted personal attacks are ok, right? :p ), cheers PaulyD

Get a 7950!

I though I would give a go with a 7850 ya know , But lol since i put it in , ive had issues with BSOD and some random freezing too.....never had anything like that with the Nvidia 560 i had :)

so i may well send it back and swap it :)....and give ATI a miss

I think the HIS HD 7970 X Turbo is a little bit faster than that.

the top 3 7970 atm are:

HIS HD 7970 X Turbo
GPU Boost Clock: 1180 MHz
GPU Base Clock: 1120 MHz
Mem Clock: 6000 MHz (1500 MHz GDDR5)

ASUS HD 7970 Matrix Platinum
GPU Boost Clock: 1100 MHz
GPU Base Clock: 1050 MHz
Mem Clock: 6600 MHz (1650 MHz GDDR5)

MSI HD 7970 Lightning BE
GPU Boost Clock: 1150 MHz
GPU Base Clock: 1070 MHz
Mem Clock: 6000 MHz (1500 MHz GDDR5)

and yes.. the price is really good!

Haven't paid any attention to the x turbo tbh, appears I over looked it :)

Though from a brief look I can't find stock of it anywhere.

So I retract my earlier statement :o

So I ordered the MSI 7970 Lightning BE yesterday on the promo deal and it has arrived safe and sound today.

There doesn't seem to be any mention of the Never Settle promo for the free games anywhere. It is a bit surprising as every other e-tailer has this offer for new AMD 7950-7970's and I though it was 'standard issue' so to speak.

Probably my fault for not checking prior to ordering but this makes the deal considerably less value when you factor in the resale value of the game bundle.

A little disappointed to be honest :(

Edit: reposted this in the graphics card section - probably best there in hindsight.

2nd Edit: Fantastic Customer Service OC's - promo code is in the post after emailing CS. Many, many thanks!
