Is a bit "*****" selling clothes on eBay?

It's a bit hit-and-miss. E.g. I sold a leather jacket for £21 which was an ok amount. I sold a load of shirts which only got about £1 each. A Ben Sherman shirt which was originally £50, only worn once, only went for £2.70. An Armin Van Buuren t-shirt only got me £1.

On the other hand, I have a mate who sells his old trainers and he always does pretty well with them. Sometimes, he even gets his money back, the amount that he paid for originally.

D'ya like dags?

Nearly fell off my chair with at this!

Sold clothes on ebay didnt get much return.
Only bought item was second hand (near new) trainers, they were G unit so a bit *****.....

£150 on a jumper is mental, I would actually be terrified to wear it.

get that lot over to AVForums, 'non electrical items' sales thread, and they will bite your arm off for this clobber,

as for having a problem? no sir, one mans junk is another mans gold ;)

£40 per jumper?

No matter what brand they are, I wouldn't pay £40/50 for secondhand jumpers. £10 max, if its like new.

Problem with jumpers is that they bubble, easily shrink in the wash, stretched easily. You might get £50 for the lot if you are lucky.

Yeah I normally strip the bed and sleep on the bare mattress at hotels.

That comeback comment made me lol :D

On a related note, personally I wouldn't buy used clothes from ebay unless its perhaps for fancy dress or a fun occasion which requires something rather specific.
