I am surprised he survived the landing, just look at all the massive rocks around landing site:

Only looks like a few years old. Dry desert air must preserve things well.

And as for the damage if that is the bank indicator on the top right then he hit at quite an angle....lucky boy
 
Internet is full of videos of found planes and tanks, just jump on youtube and you will find multiple videos of people finding spitfires and bf 109's but mainly loads of videos of russians pulling complete, miovng and fully armed stugs, hetzers and kv 1's from bogs and marches

Lucky? You're joking, right?

Would've been better for him if he'd been killed instantly in the crash instead of dying of thirst/heat in the desert. Poor bugger.
