My game comparisons - 660 - 680 -7950

7950 bests 680 in metro? :p

The 680 performed poorly in the three titles in Meat Loafs benchmark test. However TechReport is delighted to say that the frame latencies on the 680 were also amongst the lowest we've seen with a render time of 0.00ms, where as the 7950 was producing much higher latencies of 15-20ms. It was clearly noticeable if we slowed the video down to speeds that 1 frame would render every 24 days.

In light of this HARDOCP cannot recommend a 7950 with good fps over a 680 producing 0 fps. The smoother experience on 680 means that at present we cannot advise buying a 7950. We remain optimistic that amd will address these issues over the coming decades.

LOl, now that's sarcasm :)

I have a 7950 that runs at 1175 core 1750 VRAM and it matches or beats my GTX 680 at 1270 core and + 550 VRAM. The only saving grace for the GTX 680 is that I'm currently playing games that run better on Nvidia.
