Mum is looking for a cheap n cheerful phone

Purely as the title. She rarely uses it but needs one on her so we can get hold of her or for emergencies, she only spends about £10 every 3 months-ish.

Nothing that feels too cheap though. Maybe in the £200-£250 range. She want's something that is very easy to use, my Note 2 confused her, but that is how I set it up. I bet I could get a much simpler android set-up for her.

Can't help on the Android front but the Lumia 620 would be a good shout. O2 are selling them on PAYG for £150.

Depends what she wants from it apart from 'being simple'? Internet? Movies? Just calls and texts?

In the price the op stated this ^ is a true no brainer, having read the title I was initially thinking zte blade 2 or Huawei g330 but the 8gb N4 is the one at that price.

Same as me but my idea of cheap n cheerful obviously differs massively from the OPs

Lol agreed, perfectly timed for the op to think that Goog are great merchants re shipping and stock control too, tho they will lose out on the free shipping that the 1st runners got.

It's been in stock since 3pm yesterday and they seem to have got their act together with many people who ordered yesterday receiving it this morning.

Nokia Lumia 620 sounds ideal. Pretty much idiot proof.
