Someone sent a green felt-tip pen from Hong Kong to my flat. Am I about to die?

I've been in this flat for 18 months and have just received - via air mail from Hong Kong - a letter addressed to the previous tenant that contained nothing but a green felt-tip pen.

Is this some kind of gang warning? Does the felt contain ricin? Should I alert the media?

I think you have to draw a humorous mustache on yourself and post it on the internet, or else they will come for you.

It is clearly a scale model of a two stage rocket, report him for industrial espionage.

I wouldn't be surprised if that so called "green ink" was in fact high grade rocket fuel.

This works for almost all problems in life.

I would watch this movie... in fact I have, many times, in various reboot and remake styles. It solved most of my immediate problems.

OP, you shouldn't open other people's post! naughty naughty!

Snapped it in half. Apart from covering my hands in ink, there's nothing interesting to be found:(

Oh and the previous tenants left no forwarding address so their mail usually goes straight in the recycling.

Bah, how disappointing. Was at least hoping to find some PEA or something :(

Sure is an odd purchase to come from china...

There was a secret message inside. It doesn't matter that you didn't find it - they can't take that chance. They're probably already on their way.

Are you sure it's a regular ink pen? There are some hydrophobic pens used in medical labs for marking microscope slides and they can be very expensive.

Maybe they've (previous tenant) been scammed on eBay and used the wrong address? Have heard of folks getting buttons/something similar in the post so sellers can show a real proof of postage in the dispute...

Pretty sure, the casing is that cheap plastic where there's a bit of it flaking off where it was connected to to the next one on the factory line. The felt in the middle also seems pretty standard.

No markings or labels of any kind.

How completely random and bizarre then
