DmC Devil may Cry another console port.

I don't see what makes it such a console port? :p

- Not a PC exclusive
- Not made by one of the holy comapnies e.g. ValvE
- Supports/plays better with controller

Take your pick, while it may technically be a 'console port' people use that as an insult these days when really it is quite retarded, nothing bad about the port at all.

It's games like this that are a good thing about consoles, games like DmC just don't work on keyboard and mouse, they are doable, but no matter what a developer does it's always gonna be better on a console. If it wasn't for consoles then DmC, Ninja Gaiden, Bayonetta etc. none of them would even exist.

Neither would fighting games come to think of it, at least they would never of came out of the arcades if consoles didn't bring them out. Consoles do have a few good points. :p

I really enjoyed dmc for PC, got an xbox controller and was absolutely fine. Wonder if any DLCs are coming out

One DLC is already in the works, apparently it's already on the disc though.

Capcom need to really stop with this disk locked content (DLC) crap...

Im about a hours in..How long is the game?

Depends on player skill (how long it'll take you), how much you enjoy the game (thus willing to replay for completion and higher difficulties) and how much you want to grind (grind time depends on skill etc).

Average player will probably get 15 or so hours out of it. People who thoroughly enjoy this kind of game like myself who try their hardest for absolute completion will (hopefully) soak hundreds of hours into it.

Is Bayonetta on PC?

Ahh Bayonetta <3.

Kamiya's finest game since directing the original Devil May Cry and Resident Evil 2. If you are going to pick up Bayonetta ignore the PS3 version. It is awful. Platinum only developed the 360 version, and Sega outsourced PS3 version.

Bayonetta 2 is in development now at Platinum. A Wii U exclusive. Looking forward to this one, and one of the reasons I bought a Wii U. Platinum Games without a doubt are one of the best development houses in recent years.

The use of "console port" as a derogatory statement is embarrassing. A great game is a great game no matter the host platform. Consoles compliment PC gaming.

Remember guys if you fancy another action game Metal Gear Rising is out in a few weeks. Another Platinum joint developed this time with Kojima Productions. Fun times:D

There is nothing wrong with the ps3 version. I bought it from Asda for like 7 quid a few months after release and the patch on installing it fixed almost everything to make it an identical version to the 360. If you don't have the internet in order to patch the game, avoid it, but who does that apply to these days?

There's nothing wrong with the PS3 version of Bayonetta.

Guys. There is plenty wrong with the Bayo PS3 port, albeit the patch did help resolve some issues. Tearing, lost frames, texture filter, long load times and unresponsive controls took a toll on Bayonetta. It was well known at the time.

I'll leave it in the hands of the forthright Inba himself.

“The biggest failure for Platinum so far, the one that really sticks in my mind, is that port,” Inaba tells us. “At the time we didn’t really know how to develop on PS3 all that well, and whether we could have done it… is irrelevant: we made the decision that we couldn’t. But looking back on the result, and especially what ended up being released to users, I regard that as our biggest failure.”

What!? I swear reading somewhere that it's coming to PC, as is the new Metal Gear Solid sequel.

Nah mate. Sorry but Rising is only 360, and PS3.

Ground Zeroes. Well it might go to PC, but Kojima hasn't hinted at where the game will end up. More than likely it will be Nextbox and PS4. Been a while since Metal Gear arrived on PC. But who knows :) See consoles compliment PC gaming. Go on get a PS4 or New Xbox..or both ;p

There's nothing wrong with bayonetta on the PS3, I'm not the only one with a ps3 and a 360 and couldn't care less about one being better than the other, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it on the ps3.

Really shouldn't be forced to use consoles for games that have previously came out on PC tbh, PC not getting Metal Gear is no different to WiiU getting Bayonetta 2 and all the 360/PS3 users crying about it.

I believe he was talking Bayonetta on the Ps3 when he played it, pre-patched and buggy. Can you not read?

Thread necro inbound...

Picked this up as part of the Never Settle bundle, and I'm really enjoying it. Zero brain effort required, doesn't feel overly serious, it's just really good fun, with absolutely beautifully choreograph and stylised fighting moves. My only regret is that I'm not playing it on the big screen!

Anyone else discovered this from the AMD bundle?
