fx4100 throttling back

Ok ive tried that and the same thing happens

Ok so i can stop this with software so the board is indeed in need of a new bios update.

Hopefully they release one soon.

How did you resolve it bud?.

My OC throttles like hell underload and the only way i resolved it was to install AMD Overdrive - Enable Turbo Boost then disable it and click ok and then it stopped throttling. Definitely think it's a board/BIOS issue

THIS!!!

That's exactly what my FX6300 was doing I overclocked it to 4.4, the moment you run Prime it drops to about 3ghz I think it was, do the above and it sits at a rock solid 4444mhz

LOL really? I remember suffering from that issue when Phenom X6 was first released.

been like it for ages and I'm pretty sure I've got the latest beta BIOS

If anyone still has problems with this board and fx cpus, i have the latest beta bios from gigabyte that fixes the issue
