Hi all

I am looking for a 32" maybe even 37" TV from bedroom.. it is quite a long narrow bedroom. It is mainly going to be used for watch TV(cable), DVDs etc.
Budget is under £400.. the less the better. Don't need 3D.

here are some that i seen

LG 32LS5600 £300
LG 37LS5600 £380

SAMSUNG UE32ES5500 - £349
SAMSUNG UE40ES5500 - £430

LG 37LS570T - £430

PANASONIC Viera TX-L32C5B - £260

PANASONICVIERA TXL32E5B - £330
PANASONIC VIERA TXL37E5B - £430

Are these any good... or can you recommend better for £400 or less..
Thanks in advance guys :)

This one. Its a stonking price for this telly, I paid £60 more for mine 3 months ago & thought it was cheap at the time.

Its nearest rival is the UE32ES5500 which I considered at the time as it is the same price now as it was when I bought the Panasonic.

I asked the salesman if Panasonic's Picture quality was as good as it has been in the last 15 years & he said yes. If you want picture quality over features then the Panasonic is a no brainer buy.

As a former TV salesman I used to say get a Panasonic if you wanted a good all round telly & I'll stick by that.

There's a 11 year old Panasonic telly I recommended to my folks at the time that still going strong even though it an old school analogue model.

Plugged my old Freeview DVD recorder into it to keep the old girl going, so to speak. ;)

I posted a message about this TV in the games section as I wanted to get one this weekend but can't decide.

Basically I want it for my Gaming consoles and restricted to a 32" inch owing the hole in the wall it goes in. My concerns were :

1) is there much input lag
2) how does it cope with dark areas in games, my old Panasonic LCD used to be poor in those circumstance, almost like someone was turning the brightness up/down as you moved or rotated.

I'm not bothered by price so if there is something better I'll get it (as long as it's a 32") but from what I've read this TV is good, problem is none of the reviews I've seen mention gaming or figures for lag.

Would love to hear your feedback.

Actually misread this, it was the ET5B I posted about but the same applies I guess ?

I'm no expert on this, but I have a rig for gaming hooked up to my telly & I noticed no problems when my sisters boys were playing team fortress 2 on it the other day.

only using it for watching dvds and hi-def channels.. got no games consoles so can't comment sorry.

seemed fine and more than acceptable to me.. watched the 6 nations on BBC1 HD and football off virginmedia box (SD) over the weekend with no complaints. But I am not that criticial or snobbish to be fair.

Need a 32 for bedroom. Was looking at a samsung 32eh5000 for £250-270. Seems cheap but must be able to handle motion very well.
Went to look at it in shop, and of course the purple shirted clowns tried to sell me a £69.99 hdmi lead as that was the most important part of the setup according to them haha. You mean that's what you get more commission from duh.
