They are Acoustic Energy Aegis EVO Ones. Several years old now, but still fantastic - Bought them new back in 2004/5

And the hard drives - well I'm waiting for some funds to a NAS, until then they sit on my desk and get powered by a cheap usb converter when needed

Spent the weekend finishing off my new desk shelf - wanted to create a little bit of space and raise my monitors to a more comfortable viewing angle. I couldn't find anywhere that sold any that either fitted the colossal size requirement or looked any good so just decided to make my own. Cut, sanded, primed and painted the wood, added obligatory glowies and now just waiting on my cable routers to come along so I can have it tidied up underneath! Up top are two Dell U20s flanking a U30; 4960x1600 @ near enough bang on 100dpi across all three panels.

What do people reckon, case on floor or case on desk?

I think its much tidier on the floor, but then you can't see your amazing suped up rig.

Theres no reason to have the case on the desk, it looks cool though? Or does it.
