new laptop for music and movies £700

I have a msi gx660r now however its over 6kg and when traveling around germany on tour i noticed that its extremely heavy.

I would like to know if anyone knows any laptop that is round £700 or less only for music and movies and has a really good battery life

Dell is newer tech and the body is a single piece of aluminum and it will take a few knocks while you tour with ease, however it does not come with a DVD drive and uses Windows 8.

Personally l would go with the Dell.
