"half forest and half persian" apparently, although I don't believe them and just bought her because she was cute :) Her mum did look a bit like a small Norwegian forest though

I'm gonna stream her daily activities on and off for a few days while i'm introducing her to our 3 year old cat, you can watch all the action here http://ustre.am/TBwx :)

I had some VERY bad news today.
Possibly one of my worst days in a decade.
1 month ago my cat was completely healthy.
Today, he was diagnosed with FIP and could was told to expect death in 5 weeks.

I stumbled across this thread and found it quite touching.

That actually made me cry :(

A couple of my two.. Molly (The back one) is 12 this year so she's getting on a bit :( I dread the day she goes!

Molly doesn't particularly like him.. and he is a bit of a bully. Jumps her etc

You have an office cat? Awesome.

Years ago, there used to be cat food in the BT office supplies catalogue so that the Exchange cats could be fed.

Yeh, he lives in one of the houses near by but whenever someone comes in our place he follows them in!

I woke up to this this morning, purring away next to me!

my cats have been causing dis-harmony in the house yet again.. Heidi dug up my flat mates strawberrys so he's slaming doors and swearing/shouting :(
it really ****s me off, i think its time i found a place of my own

Anyone notice that Peugeot have change the words of their 'missing cat' advert?

It used to say something like "Gary has lost his cat....but you don't know him so you don't need to worry, just like you don't have to worry about insurance with Peugeot...." followed at the end with "in case you were worried, don't. Gary's cat goes missing all the time".

It now says something like "Gary has lost his cat and is worried, but you don't need to worry about insurance with Peugeot"..followed at the end with "Oh look, there's Gary's cat".

I did think when I saw the original they were making light of the genuine stress of losing an animal, it came across as "who cares about missing cats when you can buy a new car" although I didn't complain I'm sure a few did hence the change in wording.

Edit: Here's the original..

Hey guys,

Here are some new pics of Peanut, some of you may remember much earlier on in the thread we had lots of issues with her eating etc... Glad to say she is all well now, she can't handle dry food which is a pain but she is doing well on the wet.

Dropped her off this morning to be spayed and microchipped, she is definitely going to hate us this afternoon when we pick her up...

Aww! Loving Peanut - very good looking kitty cat. Plus Millie looks adorable :)

I need some advise regarding my little monster again...

She keeps fighting EVERYTHING! I let her out on Saturday morning, and left the back door open so she could come and go as she wanted. I was pottering about downstairs so no big deal. About 10 mins later I heard her kicking off at the side of the house. So I nipped out to break it up and low and behold she was scrapping (and winning I might add) with a very large Black and White cat.

She scared it off and chased it off, at which point I dragged her back inside. But then the same thing happened on Sunday night, but this time she was in the bushes of next doors garden and howling and hissing at a cat I couldn't see. Again I shouted her in.

Over Christmas, she got into a scrap and ran up a tree. It took us nearly 2 hours to get her to come back down - she was bout 10 ft off the ground and very scared...

She has been done, but she acts like a tom cat and squares up to anything and everything, including dogs!!

Any advice? Oh and in before "keep her in" etc, she has always known and had access to the outside, I am not going to take that from her

Have you just started letting her out? If so I think that she will just have to establish a 'pecking order' with the local cats.
Most cats will try and defend there local territory to one degree or another, so I would keep an eye on it as much as possible you will probly find that she will work out who she can pick on and who she can't

Not very comforting I know but I dont think theres much else you can do
