Laptop Charger issue

Hey guys,

on my laptop (which is a little old now) the part where the charger plugs in is a bit loose and you can wobble it when its plugged in and sometimes it doesnt charge when its plugged in and you have to wiggle it around to get it to charge

does anyone know if i can fix this?

You are very much in luck, because that's the slot in type. If you're unlucky it might be the base plastic that it slots into that's snapped, though that's not as likely.

Basically, you'll have to disassemble it to replace.

Just had this issue with my MSI GX660R luckily is under warranty so has gone back to get it fixed (also had an issue with one of the hardrives) but when I looked into replacing the jack it did look like quite a simple thing, just need to get the correct jack :-) how long have you had the laptop just out of interest?

about 4 years so the warranties probably long gone lol
