For CPUs I have just found what I think is my favourite looking block and it got me wondering what yours are.

Any 'zomgz h100i' responses will be met with righteous real watercooling fury.

mips iceforce for 1155:

and even better..

mips iceforce for AMD

Never heard of mips before. seems a lot of their stuff is quite bland in comparison:

ripe for modding I guess.

That intel block looks lovely, AMD waterblocks always look gash for some reason,

EK Supreme HF plexi, the best block they ever made, great cooling potential and you can see straight through it to spot blockages/etc unlike the CSQ garbage their pushing now, form over function FTL...

Shudder! XD

I agree that CSQ looks horrible, but plexi blocks, erugh!:D

Actually I wouldn't mind it if the internal was fully nickle plated..

I still have that, been stripped and cleaned 3 times now over the last 2 years, great block and agree on the csq stuff, only one I would consider is the all copper csq, it's not too bad looking, but all the other stuff looks gash.

Yup love my HF, works great and definately so much easier to spot blockages than the supremacy blocks. However I would not go as far as to say the Supremecy being an ugly block though.

About the CSQ stuff for those not on EK's mailing list...

They've just opened something called the 'EK Think Tank' essentially a customer forum, as they pretty much admitted while some like CSQ, others detest it, as it was something designed without asking the public for an opinion.

Its brave of EK to stand up and take note like this, so if you want to see changes, sign up to the think tank and put your thoughts forward to the EK team :)

In the process of dropping my Raystorm for an EK Supreme HF CU Full Nickel which I have sat in front of me...its stunning.

Its called "Thinkcell" but thanks for the heads up, found it via google and gave them a peace of my mind :P

It's a really nice brushed nickel surface, light glistens off the top and bottom sharp edges in particular

(IRL there is no blue hue, I can't work a camera properly)
