I love making huge comebacks in this game :D Played against this guy who was not very good but I was struggling a bit with the sweat and he managed 5 goals before half time. He even did the violin celebration on the 5th goal he scored.

So I was like right that's it BEAST MODE /ON !

Second half I owned the hell out of him, at 80mins left I had scored 8 goals :eek: I scored my 9th and was like right payback. So I did the "shush" celebration followed by a violin one. Then he kicked the ball and rage quit :D :D I was dead chuffed lol.
 
I have never been so handicapped in my life until the team I just built against a Newcastle team, it was absolutely dreadful to play with.

I think EA have engaged troll mode as yesterday was the same for me , for about 5 games Robben couldn't control a ball blah blah. I just laugh at it now.

As you said earlier anyone who says there is not something dodgy going on with this game is retarded.

Still play it to much though :p

Hah! I usually run around their keeper in a circle doing the DJ celebration if they have the audacity to rub any of their goals in. :p
 
I didn't realise Sissoko is rated 75, bit harsh from EA, apparently he was a beast in France too so not sure why he'd warrant that low card. He'll be getting an IF this week.

Yesterday was a joke. Played some kid with a few YouTube videos- Mr_camacho after 3 straight wins in the gold cup. I see why he is a popular vidder. He'd get to the edge of the box with taraabt, I'd close 1 or 2 defenders on him to block/tackle. Game would freeze for 2 seconds just as I go to tackle. Replay would show him trick past 2 defenders, skin my keeper and literally walk it into the net. Was a complete joke he was good with skills but if I'd had a responsive defence it would have been a fair match.

Ea seriously need to sort their crappy servers and stupid handicap out for 14.

I'm getting sick of Cech now, he's too slow. Gona give lloris a whirl

Every time I've won the gold cup was at a weekend lol. Beats dortmund noobs/5 at the back pace abuse/ long ball spam u get when it's school kid time. Give me a proper game of football anyday, even if I'm the only one playing it

This is why I'm getting off this game, lost a few games purely because of these points. Also played a few games where they had 81 overall team score and 60 chemistry and they still won me!? Sometimes I think chemistry doesn't mean anything

Player skill comes ahead of team ratings and chemistry, thinking you will win just cause you have a higher rated team or better chemistry is not the way to go :)
 
Ooh elrasho... thought you were new to this game. So jaded and cynical already :D

I can deal with pace abuse tbh, defending is easy. Just so hard to play good passing football when the other team seems to have limitless stamina and presses you hard for 90 mins.
 
Was nice last night to take out a Doumbia/Emenike team who just kept charging forward with no discernable tactics other than "LINFORD CHRISTIE, GO!"

Milito made easy work of 'em :)

Yeah agree with this, i romped my way to the final of gold cup. Beating teams either built for pace or with big money spent on players even with my bad team out to build some fitness back. In the final i was against a very expensive La Liga team and they beat me 7-1, all their goals were in the first half and i just could not pass the ball to a player who wasn't immediately heavily pressed. Mostly my passes went to them though. I've never played a game like it before. Had no idea how to deal with it.
 
I hear all the best players in the world are on PS3 (sic). Whats your PSN, you can thrash me (though not gonna be on til end of week)...
