The Focus will be up for sale tonight on Auto Trader. Here are the prices to advertise on AT:

My car is worth less than £1000 so I qualify for the "Bargain Price".

The obvious choice is the online super package which doesn't include advertising in the magazine. Does anyone bother with magazines these days?

Thanks

It will limit your market a little bit as a lot of the older generation will still use the mag only. In saying that if it's sub £1k i doubt you'll have any trouble shifting it so the £15 web only deal looks reasonable enough.

Fire it onto gumtree etc too.

I spend between £2-3k a month advertising with Autotrader, 0% if it goes on the magazine!

Not worth it, can't even remember the last time I saw one.

Chances most of the older generation won't be looking for a <£1k motor anyway I'd have thought. Had a quick look for circulation figures and 1 year ago it was only shifting about ~5000 copies per region with typically a ~40% drop compared to previous year and you'd imagine that trend has continued i.e. it could be as low as 3000 now.

Online super package looks best bet to me.

As an aside I think online is pretty much the perfect place for something like Autotrader (versus other traditional print magazines) because of searching etc, great example of a company moving with the times and making use of their existing brand rather than getting beaten to the punch by new startups.
