Are these phones any good ?

I don't think either are available in the UK which is why they aren't discussed here. There is one thread floating around about the butterfly I think, someone did buy one.

The M7 set to be announced in 2 weeks or so is going to be the closest thing to a UK version of these

What sort of price would the htc m7 be, as I'm getting a new phone and wondered if it would be worth holding out for one of these instead on the nexus 4, will it be more than the nexus 4 ?

I think the One X launched at £479.99 last year, so the M7 will probably be around that. Nexus 4 will be cheaper whether you crowbar one off Google or get it from CPW.

The Nexus 4 is currently the best phone avaliable at the moment. It's got a better CPU than the One X. The One X gets hot pretty easily and has pretty poor battery life. One problem with the Nexus 4 however is the small internal storage, 16gb and no SD card slot. The only other phone I would consider at the moment really is the S III.

Might be worth holding out for late Feb as that's when new phones are announced during MWC.

I was in the position of waiting for the new crop of phones to be launched in Feb-April, with a particular eye on the M7, but the price of the N4 persuaded me to take the plunge. Having had the N4 for half a week I'm delighted I did.

And I think the N4 should hold its value very well giving me the option to upgrade later in the year if I feel like it for little financial loss, and having had a much better phone (coming from Desire S) in the meantime.

If you can handle the 16gb then N4 is a great option
