Yeah completely agree but it was a TOTY not exactly a 1 or 2 point increase but much more.

Anyways thoughts on a sweaty second team, thought I would give Ibra a second chance, after my luck with Ribery the second time round I might try him!

Sweaty second team?? You have a sweaty first team! try a moral second team :p

If Kenwyne so far - 1 game, 1 shot, 1 shot on target, 1 goal.

Goal to game ratio 1:1

Shot accuracy 100%

Goals to shots 100%

Perfect striker? :p on a serious note he is absolutely awesome as a target man. Wins every header and I mean every one. Shrugs even defenders like Kaboul off like he's drogba in PES6. His shooting is ironically more accurate than his heading (didn't get 1 actually recorded as a shot in 3 attempts :x) I can't seem to find him in the box from corners and I can't seem to plant the ball on his head from a cross. Need to go back to skill school I think.

No nice words after those games, a loss is a loss and thats no biggie, but c'mon, the average pace of your 10 outfield players is 85.4 (1 none defender under 90 pace), you play a 5 back, its just a bit using every flaw/cheap spot in the game and thats somehow fun?

Call me deluded, but I just don't get it :(

Anyone got thoughts on 5 2 2 1?

Fancy speccing me a BPL?

Cheers

I made this over the last few nights:

cech
walker-kaboul-koschienly(sp)-luiz-clichy
ramires-toure
johnson-remy-jarvis

then my man utd team:

de gea
rafael-smalling-evans-jones-evra
anderson-fletcher
valencia-hernandez-young

has a RW as well.

let the hybrids commence: Neymar-Wellinton-Emenike....:D

he has 92 finishing, long shots 91, shot power 96, stamina 99, strength 96....
..crap passing though.

Pretty much my thoughts. It's *impossible* to play anything resembling good football in the formation too purely because you have nothing in the middle and have to go straight to your top 3.

How have you found his low attacking work rate?

Random and somewhat cheeky question - does anyone have either a Ronaldo or a Ribery in a LF position and 4-3-2-1 formation they'd be willing to loan me for a night or two. I'm up to around 720k coins, and have some more Fifa points to spend (and players I'd be willing to get rid of), but the main reason I'm saving is to get enough money for Ronaldo. I've realised I'd like to try him first if possible to see if he's worth the coins, and I'd like to see if Ribery is worth the coinage over Neymar. No worries if not (or you don't trust me enough :D), just through I'd ask before going through the hassle of saving to 1.2m plus coins to try and afford him :)

I had a Ribery for a little while but I just could not use him well enough (same with Neymar for that matter) but I think that is because I suck at skilling. I think you need to be pretty good with skills to get the most out of players like Ribery and Neymar.

I can do the odd Heal Chop and stuff but I always get confused with right joystick and which direction the player is facing as to which ways I should be using the right stick.

On another note Suarez and Aguero are by far my fav combo so far in a 4231. I have Suarez in CF and Aguero in ST. Had 15 games with Suarez he has scored me 22 goals (which I think is awesome as CF, by far the best CF I have used) and Aguero with 13 games scoring 28 goals :) All them are online games. Suarez is just so god damm good, he always seems to be in the right positions to make a run, or poach goals. Aguero is also a pretty damm good monster, I was expecting to struggle a bit with him with his H/L workrates as a lone ST. But he is always there to smash goals in.

I'm saving the rest of my coins now. Hopefully UP cards will be released soonish because I really want to try David Silva currently got Mata (who is ok) and Rooney as CAM's.... The only reason I have Rooney there is my Brother gave him to me :p so I thought I would give him a try. Rooney isn't bad as a CAM he has scored a few nice long shots for me and is fairly good at passing but he is not really great either. But I don't want to spend any more coins for the time being.

Yeah but there's no need to get in a mood over it - it's a game, and after 6 months I've found something that works for me.

peanuts - i agree with Tim

HOWEBER Yes you can play whatever way works for you - but in the end we all know its a poor way to play the game in a fun way....

Clogging up your defence with all your players and flinging long balls to your 3 forwards over and over and over again is kinda boring to play against - i cant imagine how much fun it is to play that over and over again........

when i play i mix my play up - play a passing game, occasional fast ball up front, switch wings or sometimes through the middle...

Again its the win at all costs culture FUT brings - thats why I encounter lots of games which i rather just quit within the first 10mins

I love playing (dont care if i lose) against a good player who passes, weaves turns uses the occasional skill and tries multiple ways to beat me.
