What would you recommend next?

That's depressing, i haven't had the graphics card long only about 7 months :( haha!, SSD sounds like a good thought!

lol, sorry!

In that case, I'd got for one of these:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Samsung 256GB SSD 840 PRO SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7PD256BW) £209.99
1 x Plextor M5 Pro 256GB Extreme Series Solid State Drive - (PX-256M5P) £185.99
1 x Samsung 128GB SSD 840 PRO SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7PD128BW) £119.99
1 x Plextor M5 Pro 128GB Extreme Series Solid State Drive - (PX-128M5P) £99.95
Total : £625.51 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Both manufacturers are highly regarded. The only real difference is the price. The Plextor is cheaper but the performance compared to the Sammy is the same. You could get a SATA III Mechanical drive in there too!

SSD it is then!, also what is a Mechanical drive?

Just your normal HDD. It's mechanical as it uses moving parts, SSD's have no moving parts and use memory segments.

Get the most of your of motherboard as it supports Sata3 where as your Samsung SpinPoint is SATA2.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST2000DM001) HDD £79.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD £62.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM (ST500DM002) HDD £43.99
Total : £197.77 (includes shipping : £9.00).

HDD. The F3 is a good hdd and does`nt need replacing. Even more so as you willl be using it for storage, if you get an ssd. But if you need more storage, then by all means get another hdd.

I do agree, but better to have SATA3 over 2. However, I do think it depends on what you are installing/storing on the drive.

Thanks :p

The SSD would for sure, you'll see an increase in the OS booting as well as the programs you have installed.

I will definitely get an SSD next as i will but all my main programs/os on there and use my F3 just as storage :)

Thanks guys!

The F3 HDD don't need upgrading, yet:) I still have mine and it's fine when loading games etc and has been for years. Grab a SSD and install Windows on it and it will seem like a worth while upgrade:)

Yeah SSD for sure!, Just put OS/Main programs on it i think 128GB should be enough but going to calculate it all up later :)

M5 pro SSD (or 840 pro, whichever is cheaper).

128GB more than enough for OS, applications, and a few games.

256GB if you want more stuff with accelerated loading times (i.e. moar games).

You don't need a new HDD TBH.
