Thanks will have a look at him. Height shouldn't be that much of an issue as I rarely cross the ball to score headers. My favourite striker I've used is Podolski who's about pace and long shots, thinking about IF Cavani maybe
 
Miccoli and Pato are working well for me. Miccoli rarely misses 1 on 1 with the keeper. I bring on Milito to freshen things up in place of Miccoli after 70 mins or so.

Are IF player worth the coins?
 
so lets get rid of midfielders and just have defenders vs attackers and see who can outpace each other - yawn

At no point have i said that 5 2 2 1 is overpowered - i said i find it boring to play against as i have the ball and have to break down so many players as soon as they win ball - wham long ball hoping to catch my defence out of shape or a lucky ball which is not controlled....

I find it pretty enjoyable playing 5atb.. you often get 60-70% possession and the freedom of midfield and can play around to get a goal.

You find it boring having the ball? isn't that the best bit (fnar fnar :D)? :confused:

You won't have 60-70% possession against anyone remotely competent.
 
There is a bit of needle in this thread isnt there ;)

I played think it was Milky? lost 4-2 think it was cant remember but he was a good player, had fast players. Dont mind losing to a clearly better player.

Tim if your losing against pace.....why not......use it yourself :/

Been there, done that, I prefer to use players over sprinters now :)

Thats not to say I don't have fast players, just not a whole team of 'em! :)

And I wouldn't call Diarra, Fabregas & Honda pace abuse! :D

Also, bear in mind I only used that team vs randoms, not people off here (Unless asking them first!), same as cutbacks! Some twisted logic there somewhere ;)

must have been some randomer, was good game though. How about a game later Milky? :P

haha yeah Pirlo is as slow passing is amazing though! dont think ill have him in my team though. seems expensive for him.
