Hi there,

So I bought another 7950 only this one has a different Bios version.

So ones default clock is lower because of this. Wouldn't mind having them on the same Bios as it makes sense but I can't figure out what Gigabyte mean about the VBIOS version must be correct for your card. Which bios do I download and is the bios on one of the cards newer than what is shown on Gigabytes site?

Also would you recommend I use Gigabytes Windows software to flash or something else? They don't offer a DOS program.

From experience flashing a Gigabyte HD7770 OC card it will not let you flash the wrong bios if you use their bios flashing software (VGA Tools -- @BIOS or VGA Tools – Easy Boost) so fear not. Just make sure you backup the old bios first in case you have to force flash it back at a later date using atiflash. :)

Just seen Xfire wasn't enabled even though CCC asked me if I wanted to enable it and I said yes. Guess that's why I saw no performance increase HAHA.
