Can I have 2 cards?

Currently I have Nvidia GT640. Its not been a bad card and I can run the games Im playing very well, not so well with fraps. But I've been considering getting something a bit more powerful. This card wasnt expensive when I bought at and I was wondering if I can just add a second, or would I be better with a more powerful card?

honestly I'd say just get a new card and if you don't have the biggest budget that you get a Radeon card as they've got some great prices atm

Dont really have a budget, but wont be spending stupid money either, lets say £200, is a single more powerful card still the best option?
