Hello there,

This build is for my grandad, will be used for photo editing mainly
Just wanted to make sure this looks like it will all go together ok and i havnt made any mistakes?
The only problem i can see is that the internal 3.0 header will be took up by the card reader making the 1xusb 3.0 on the front of the case useless. But thats ok as long as thats all i run into.....

Thank you kindly :)

Have you took a look at trinity? Id say the 5700/800k would be better and cheaper.
No need for a graphics card then.

Iam not up to speed on amd stuff, will I really be ok without a graphics card with one of the amd fx series cpus.

The idea was to use a 120 ssd because that should be enough drive space and I can always add a hdd or external later on. Cd drive is the only thing I have so does not need to be included.

Also I just stuck with what I know, I have used an ocz ssd on my own pc but thanks for the heads up on that

When I get in from work tonight I will look at the trinity CPUs and possibly use my existing model changing the CPU. Board and ssd as suggested. Will repost here

• Is the CD drive a SATA type? as DVD burners are inexpensive then you may as well get one, especially as a lot of software comes on DVD disks which a CD drive cant read.

This looks great!
My worry is that the graphics on this amd5600k are going to be enough for what i need? not gaming but a lot of photo editing?
also that this apu comes with a retail heatsink?

Yes the cd drive would be sata but i was banking on the fact that i have a spare one in the attic or someting. so yeah i may aswell get one

Will be placing this order this week, but thanks to who posted. I see a lot of people come on here and ask for help and iam amazed that people take the time to reply.. so thanks
