NorthEast UK Folk - Get In Here.

Try central London if you want to be ripped off for Booze. :p

Yeah I can imagine!
Everything is ridiculously expensive in London. When I was flying to New York from Heathrow I stayed in a travelodge and it was about £457 for a pizza and a coke.

You can join Cleveland as a special if you want ;)

Cleveland Police are not currently recruiting for Special Constables. Due to a high level of interest we still have applications from our last recruitment campaign to process. All vacancies will be advertised through the Cleveland Police Website when they become available - this is not expected to be in the near future.

No luck at the mo lol

Yeah I know, we've already had the heads up that recruitment is opening - it has been closed for roughly 2.5 years - they've told us that it is opening soon but we haven't been given any dates as yet, but should be somewhere within the next 6 months - if you're interested I'll let you know as soon as I know :)

I aint drank in the Maltings in years but I always loved it. Actually Ill probably go there in a couple of weeks when Im back home. :)

Im pretty loyal to South Shields. I know its not perfect but it has a real good mix for a smallish town. Lots of bars and with the Coastline and transport links to Newcastle its a nice place to be.

its near the town hall

brews its own beer..rivet catcher is great as is the westoe IPA

they also do proper tasty Thai food

Hello people, advice needed for night out in Newcastle this Saturday.

Which bars would you recommend and possibly a nightclub too? I've never been out in Newcastle so thought I'd ask rather than wandering around like a headless chicken

Hello again north east folk.

I still advocate a Newcastle meet!

As long as it's not during a Derby day. I heard that during the last Derby against Sunderland the town ground to halt as poor shoppers found themselves knee deep in toys and empty prams ! :p
