Hello, I'm calling about the accident you had

I used to get loads and PPI but I once referred the caller to claims direct advising him that if he rang me again he would be having a serious "accident"
 
"...................................................................... Hello, out records show that you are owed £3000 in unclaimed PPI payments":o

$> Goodbye, please remove my number from your lists and don't call again
 
i get similar type of calls but they're a little smarter these days and it says 'unknown caller' when they ring and i cant find out what number they're calling from :p
 
I drive once a week for a local organisation which has a minibus, we have a dedicated phone for the bus.

It seems that in the last year the bus has taken out a loan and been mis-sold PPI, and has been in an accident which it can claim compensation for.

I got a phone call last year about an accident I was in ( someone drove into the back of my car). I told the parasitic lawyers I was ok, they told me that I would not recognise the symptoms of whiplash, even though I was fine, and I should be checked out by their "Doctors" so I could make a claim.

They are the reason our insurance premiums are so high.

Utter, utter parasites. I detest them.
 
I used to get these all the time. I love it If I remember correctly they are from 'The Accident Control Room'. I pretend I am crazy and that they are telling me I am going to have an accident in the future. I string it along for a good five minutes. They end up hanging up on me.
I haven't had a call for months now.

Thats what I did, i keeping the conversation going for 20 mins, then told them thanks for keeping me busy as i was bored.
 
I don't answer private numbers. If they ring and the number shows up I then add it to the 'don't answer' contact in the phone so it says 'Don't answer' whenever they ring :)
 
Never had one of these calls to date although my landline is ex directory so that might explain that one. Not had one on my mobile either.
 
I used get PPI ones, etc. They annoyed me so much that I canceled my landline. Funnily enough people don't spam mobiles from my experience.
 
Had them pester me for ages, even asked them not to call/ remove me database but didn't listen.

Then one day when i got call "is this mr ..." said nope never heard of them, whats this about, never called again great success!
 
I have been getting loads and I am taking action tracking down who the owners of the companies are and shall ruin, RUIN their lives. Keep it to yourself though.
