I also ordered the Mayhems Aurora - Nebula Blue Coolant, but later found out that It doesn't work will with Reservoir’s with Inbuilt Pumps!!!

should I wait and get the Mayhems X1 UV Blue Premixed Watercooling Fluid, as that's the colour I'm going for in my rig.

is the Mayhems Pastel range any good?

what should I rinse my tubing and radiator with before I start to put any type of fluid in Reservoir ?

Mayhems pastel range is very good. Been using the pastel red in my system for a good few months now and it's still a really nice colour (see my build log). I'm using the XSPC tubing which again, very good and no clouding or plasticiser leeching.

Rinse your radiators with distilled water, usually 2 rinses is enough. If you use the stop plugs with the radiators you can give them a good shake to move any trapped dirt inside the radiators. Even new radiators can contain loose bits of weld, grime and dirt.

where can I get distilled water ? can I not use boiled tap water once Its cooled?

that's distilled is it not?

Ummm im not sure how pure that is but i dont normally use it anyway. What i use is de-ionised water which i can buy 5 litres worth from halfords for very little money. Or buy online like the fleabay, can usually get it cheap.

Yup all ive ever used in my systems in dionized water, i.e. battery toppup water, and a little bit of biocide. Doesnt look fancy but does the job and for a fiver ya will have enough for plenty of refills if ya wanna change ya config or whatever.

IF ya want some fancy glow in the dark water, then just put normal tap water in and some yoghurt and im sure after a few weeks it will be glowing all sorts of colours :) might not do your cooling much good though.

Eh?

This is one of the fluid options for the V12 kit with the XSPC D5 Dual Bay Reservoir/Pump Combo. I bought some.

Is this an oversight on OCs part?

What do I need to look out for?

it will work with the d5 xspc res but not the xspc res with the submerged pump

regardless it will settle and the effect will run out.

It will settle?
mayhems say Reservoir’s with Inbuilt Pumps do not work well as the pump vents suck in the pearl and do not release it.

Aurora is "NOT" made for use in a home system. It has been developed for show System's (modding) and Photo work. If looking for a fluid for a Home system / Gaming system please use Mayhems X1 or Mayhems Pastel range of fluids there are fully tested and working in any kind of loop.

Aurora

Any bay res + Aurora = bad
Any tube res + Aurora = good
Quad pass rad + Aurora = bad
Duel pass or single pass Rad + Aurora = Good
Single block + aurora = Good
Duel blocks + aurora = Passable
Tripple blocks + Aurora = Bad mistake

Must run in the middle of production. thks for supporting mayhems .... byee

Yes it will settle, the pearl will clump and stick to things such as res walls etc.

I know it isn't for home use, I used to run it in a 0 block loop.

I was wrong about the d5 bay res though, last I checked it was only the old xspc res with the built-in pump that was listed as incompatible (and the single xspc bay res was listed as compatible which seems to be not the case any more /offtopic)
