barking dogs

with a gun, shoot them you should..................

or cal up council and complain or have a quiet word with the owner sayig they need to control their dogs.
 
thanks for all the replies guys, as I feared it looks like IF the owners are intransigent morons (I have reason to believe this may be true) you are left with virtually no recourse, I have spoken to someone who works in environmental health and they say they need to be there when the noise is happening etc, thing is personally my opinion is I should be able to lie in my bed at 9 am in the morning and sleep...........these dogs bark typically not incessantly but ever 2-3 mins when they are 'active' which is very annoying, sunday mornings now im lying waiting on it starting, from memory my environmental health contact said they advise people to take some form of legal action themselves.........which could be a carry on........... owner I think has the dogs for 'shooting' etc...........obviously his stupid hobby is so important everyone has to be hassled with his stupid dogs. I`m not in Dumfries btw, Cumnock

edit: its not the dogs' fault. they are being mistreated. call the council and the RSPCA. i wouldnt go round, as you dont know if the owners are nutters and they will know who has complained too

Had a very similar issue when i lived with my parents.

Council said the same thing so i told them to get their backsides round. They did. Dog went bye bye.
 
Go have a word with them if its bothering you, if they dont do anything, ask again, if they dont do anything then.. a swift falcon punch will solve it.

I`m pretty confident I have at least as much backbone as you, now I DO have knowledge of these people and yes I have considered knocking on their door, ultimately it depends on your opinion of how things will pan out. I may well speak to them, BUT doing this does have caveats, tbh its not a huge conclusion to jump to that if someone is keeping dogs in a small garden and they are causing problems then they may well be moronic.

if dogs bark continuously and the owner does nothing then they are morons.

of course anyone who keeps several dogs in a small pen all day is a moron too.
 
Got the same problem outside my GF's place.

Annoying little rat dog barking at everything that walks past.

I'd use a piece of steak with rat poison :D
 
pain in the narse that. like you say they must know the dogs bark a lot but they have learned to block it out or it doesnt bother them because it's something they can control.

throw them some dodgy steak :p
