Build spec- £500-£550

A friend of mine has asked me to build him a pc for uni. No monitor/mouse/keyboard or OS needed as he already has them

He's doing architecture so he will probably be using stuff like Photoshop and various other software. He would also like to do some gaming on the side.

So could anyone spec me the best machine for this price? would highly appreciate it , thanks

Nope the XT requires 2x 6 pin cables and the XFX 450W only has one. The 550W has 2.

Pretty sure the other 7870's only require 1 connector though.

I've decided to get the 7870 black hawk, just sceptical about it running on a 450w psu
