curious to know, did you get the heatkiller and did you fit it ok ? I am just looking for proper hands on confirmaiton that this really is on a 7970 reference PCB as I have got one myself and I am strugling to get a waterblock currently

No, i have not purchased any water blocks yet as I'm a little busy for one, and two undecided on a case. However, its looking more likely that i will go with the EK CSQ 7970 blocks rather than the heatkillers.

I can confirm this twin frozr v2 is on the 7970 pcb. the pic below is MY 7950 twin frozr v2, cooler and plate removed. As you can see it is a 7970 pcb. hope that helps.
