**FREE GAMES WITH AMD HD 7900 & HD 7800 SERIES (CRYSIS 3, BIOSHOCK & TOMB RAIDER)!**

What?
They sell them all the time...

Scummy

It is so our system works and we set the pricing to be unrealistic so people don't buy them.

As already stated they cost far less to buy direct.

If we wanted to sell the games which AMD give us for FREE we'd just undercut the going rate and cleanup by selling them all seperately.

Insteady we set the pricing to be silly high so no one buys them, as they are FREE when purchasing a graphics card. :)

What would you do if someone with more money than sense came along and bought them all. Then you had none left to give away with your cards.

If someone tried to buy them all, the order would be stopped and the crazy person would be called, as our fraud systems would flag it for checking.

As AMD get all our sales out reports and only supply us vouchers according to our AMD graphics sales.

So it won't happen, no one is dumb enough and we'd not let it happen as we have an excellent and very strong relationship with AMD, so doing something stupid like selling the codes cheap or using them for other purposes would hurt the relationship and would mean we'd not be involved in future AMD promotions.

We always do it this way and typically out of every 1000 vouchers there will be like 2-3 actual sales of the voucher at the crazy price by itself, why some people are so crazy to buy them is beyond us but as its so rare the current system has being left in place until IT/Coders can give us something that works with promotions/give aways better. :)

And that my friends is how you professionally flat bat a stupid question out of the park.

Haven't had time to read through the thread properly yet, but I'm going to be getting a 79xx card, but not sure if I want Crysis 3.

Could I get Bioshock + Tomb Raider instead, or Crysis 3 + Tomb Raider if I decided against Bioshock?

:D

I think its the set 2 games as I got a card with a 7950 and it had one code to redeem crisis 3 and bioshock via the amd website :)

For the record too, I've actually tried to purchase the games coupons myself and not been able to do so as the order has been cancelled. Overclockers are a respectable reseller :)

I got a 7850 for a build last week, bought it on Friday.. Came this week with no code, so I pestered the place and they sent me one out :-)

No matter what gibbo says there still is this:

The game code SKU price went up by £20 randomly, It was previously listed at around £32.50 per Game, which was not bad.

The High End GPU prices have increased to what the previous cost + the Game SKU price is.... Coincidence? i think not

It was £79.99 when I got my 7950 last week which cost me £229.

So what youre saying is my 7950 now costs £319 - which it dosent

Then don't buy it? Supply and demand will sort it out, if its too expensive people won't buy it.

Are you saying that the price for the card increased due to the free games being worth more?

Does it really matter if the card increased 20/30 quid? You're getting 2 free games.

I think you'll find other companies did this on thousands of items during the Christmas sale period.
