citizenship test - do you think you can pass?

13 :(

I guess the test doesn't do what it's supposed to.

So send me back to wherever it is I'm from, but don't get me to sit a citizenship test for that country as I'll no doubt fail that one too. :p

I find it interesting that in particular to a certain question that the correct answer managed to go against a statistical probability:

From what age can you be asked to serve on a jury?
18 (Correct answer)
38312 participants have answered this correctly

So in other words 18.5%, I'd have thought this would be higher, even if people were just guessing between 18 and 21. But to be significantly lower than 25% i find surprising.

Your score is: 7 out of 20

Ah well, I'm Dutch anyhow and don't see the point in knowing the answers to half those questions!

Now there's an opportunity for someone to post that animated Jason Bateman* gif if ever I saw one :D

*I may have the wrong person there, you know the one...

Prescriptions javen't been free for a long time now.

Got 15/20. Not bad but I completely lucked out on some questions. What does knowing the percentage of the population that were muslim in 2001 prove?

Absolutely nothing, but the test can contain questions based on any and everything that is mentioned in the handbook. The Muslim % is contained within the ethical diversity section, along with other beliefs such as Hindu, Sikh, Jewish and even Buddhist.

All the sample tests have it asking for the Muslim population, but when I wrote my test, it wanted the % of people of Indian ethnicity and I'm pretty sure the actual number as well.

I genuinely only knew about 4-5 of the questions, the others i got right were guesswork.

Born and raised in the UK hah.

Higher than I was expecting tbh!

Oh and:-

In 1801, a new version of the official flag of the United Kingdom was created. What is it often called?

It states the correct answer is "Union Jack". But it's not, it's the Union Flag. The "Union Jack" is it's common name and by convention only called such when flown from the mast of a ship.
