Upgrade iPad to iOS 6?

I have an iPad 3rd generation still running iOS 5 due to the maps and you tube losses.

I would like to upgrade to iOS 6 but the question is Apple maps still as bad as they were or can google maps be easily accessed?

Also I seen there is a YouTube application now, is this as good as the default application on iOS 5?

Basically am I silly not upgrading it?

The YouTube app is just as good as the default iOS 5 one

Can't say anything about maps as I don't use it.

No it doesn't, you haven't stated what it is that you actually want to downgrade for over iOS 6 :confused:

YouTube app is better than the previous one.

Google Maps can be accessed from Safari or the iPhone App is available to install but has an iPhone 5 sized UI.

I find it better i held up on upgrading until i knew i could jailbreak again but when i did upgrade to ios6 i find my ipad 3 running a lot more smoother now. Also the youtube app is better. Can't comment on maps also as i don't use it.

Same. Dodgy maps and buggy WiFi since upgrading. Really poor.

New YouTube app is great and I like the apple maps, far better imo.

I like to use Apple maps. It's really good. Even so, I can say that youtube apps is better than default ios 5.

As good as the new youtube app looks, i don't like it. For starters you now get adverts

Plus it has a tenancy to lower the video quality so low that you can not make out what you are watching, instead of pausing and buffering... There may be a setting to change this but i've not looked yet.
