Samsung Galaxy S3 Case

I'm interested in people's opinions on the best lightweight, easy access case for the S3.

I tried the official Samsung one and it's crap.

Case Mate Barely There
Incipio Feather
Case Mate Phantom
Official vertical flip
S Wave

Not sure about a proper flip type case but if you just want something that covers the back the Rock quicksand is great.

Had a rock quicksand since the s3 was released and its ideal. Not thought about changing cases at all.

On Googling it, the Quicksand appears to have a funny texture on the back, is it smooth like the Feather?

Does encroach on or over the screen edge at all?

It feels like sand. It comes over the side a tiny bit but it's no where near the screen edge.

It is kind of hard to describe the feel of the rock quicksand case. Best I can come up with is, it feels like worn out sandpaper but nicer

A very nice alternative to it is the nilkin case.

Both are definitely better than the case mate barely there.

The best case for all round protection is the diztronic matte TPU case.

And then for more protection, the case mate tough, otterbox etc.

+1 to the Nilkin too

Using it at the moment and it's awesome. Only reason I was going to take a look at the Modello was because the Nilkin (and quicksand) lack top and bottom protection.
