Cycling for charity - please help!

Update - had a few donations and lots of promises of donations once I get the pack which is great! :)

It was brought up at a club meet that I've never done more than 70miles and now I'm doing 280miles in 24hrs! Talk about running before you can walk! Gulp!

It's for a good cause so I will do it! :) Determination is a strong point of mine with the physical limitations I have!

If people could keep supporting me for this life-changing event for good that would be immense and I would be forever indebted!

gonna be training for it?
if you post a training log for it (ie what you've done, how you did etc etc) then I'm sure you'll get more people interested.
also photos of you looking a mess after cycling 50 miles and questioning if you can do it work well.

I'll be doing updates on it when cycling - not on exercise bike though (last night did 30miles in less than 90mins on 12/16 which is about the same as a gentle hill). Aiming to do a 50mile ride when this snow has gone - I struggle because of my injuries with snow (cold and the damp gets to my arthritus in elbow/hand/knee!).

Raised over half of the sponsorship in a week! Fantastic!
Still need the help and suipport of more people though. :)

I'm still really chuffed with all the support i've had so far!

Had a photographer from Leicester Mercury today so think there will be a story on Monday!

Over half way so thanks to everyone for their support in this monster task for me!!! :)

If I was fully able bodied the endurance aspect would not seem so daunting but only being able to ride in one position will put a lot of strain on previously broken parts!

Still - determination over the last few years is not something I have been short off and now it seems i've being rewarded for it! :)
