Thinking of leaving the cooler until I decide to OC. How does it stack up now? Or should I plumpt for the prodigy? Spoilt for choice

Going to your original budget and from that selection of parts I would suggest this...........

The Z9 Plus is a great starters case (I own one). However the U3 is the improved version with USB3 ports a proper side window and a dust filter added for the PSU vent. You lose a fan but keep all the other Z9 plus goodies.

AMD have announced a new games bundle for the 7850 and 7950. No harm in thinking things through, once the offer kicks in the 7850 will come with Tomb raider and Bioshock infinite. The offers change weekly and they might favour you more if you wait on the "Never settle" bundle.

Look forward to seeing what you settle on :)

Have revised my budget and now need a monitor and mouse, only things im going to reuse are, keyboard and dvdrw. this is new revised spec

anything i should change and not go over this 1k budget by even a penny or the OH will be having words

You want the D3H not the DS3H. DS3H locks voltage control, less ports and worse onboard sound.

Oh and I'd get a different SSD. The normal 830 is faster than the 840 basic. You always have the Plextor Pro to look to as well.

Changed a few things. Still comes in under budget.

Swapped the SSD for the Plextor as it is slightly cheaper for the same performance.
Changed the board to the Z77-D3H
Changed the Ram for a cheaper 16GB kit.
Swapped the PSU as you will be fine with a 550W for a single card setup

i know i havent went for modular, but is it easy enough to cable manage in new cases these days? Also the Zalman, do i need to buy fans or the stock fans be quiet enough and do the job til i decide to OC the 3750 and get a decent cooler. I like a clean clutter free build and like a window to show it off but as it will prob be used in a dark room, dont fancy a lot of LEDs anymore, a few years ago i was all about the LEDs.

I really do want to have everything all at once, cam wait til stuff comes back in to stock but it would kill me having all the parts and waiting. Any reason most of the modulars are OOS

Cable management is easy with the Zalman. And the three supplied fans are decent. Don't expect Bitfenix Spectre performance from them though ;)
