Hi all,

Just drove home from a mates house and I pulled out at a roundabout (I was turning left, there appeared to be nothing come from the right) however once I had pulled out a white van came hurtling around the corner before the roundabout (from the turning to my right from where I had pulled out) probably doing about 70mph and came right up to back of my car (like almost touching my bumper) as i was pulling up the hill. He then continued to flash his lights and beep his horn at me for the following 200 metres, Which is when i got fed up and stopped. He then preceded to pull up beside me and start hurling abuse at me from his window (whilst completely blocking the lane for oncoming traffic) saying how he had my plates and would report me.

Annoyingly i was a little too flustered to take his plates down and forgot them.

I am a pretty young driver so never had much experience of anything like this... Should I be worried?

Cheers

Ali

I would not give it a second thought...

even if you did some how do something dangerous there is no proof, and there was no damage / injury the police are not going to care even if it was reported (not that the guy is going to bother)

if he reports you which tbh is very unlikely, what evidence does he have that you even did anything?

company i work for uses white vans (with the company logo on the side) and the guy i work with drives like a nutter, i hate it. drives right up behind peoples cars getting stupidly close for no reason.

Should have said "lovely, report me, and when the coppers come round I'll report you for dangerous driving :)"

Too many angry idiots on the road.

Don't worry about it. He's not going to report you and even if he did the police would have no evidence to prosecute.
