Every single phone I've had now has had a defect of some fault. iPhone 4S had yellow spots across the screen and a purple camera, Galaxy S III had a really buzzy ear piece and now this had a multi touch issue and navigating around websites was a task and half.

Back to my POS HTC Explorer but the build quality is perfect with no defects. Sigh.

I've already told you it would be SW at least twice... Probably an easy fix.

downloaded multi touch - and it registers 10 ??!! I could try and get my nose on or feet on the screen but that's pushing it

Have a read at the nexux 7 thread about this guy, it seems every little niggle about every item and it has to go back.

Pages and pages of him complaining.

yeah and Tom got me downloading muti touch - it was like I was playing Twister all over again.

I'm aware of Toms quest for absolute perfection, but if he thought the phone was great apart from the multi touch issue which only seems to affect his handset, why not just exchange it for another one that most likely will work instead of starting the quest over again. Just seems very counter productive.
 
Not just the nexus thread, but the gs 2 and gs 3 thread as well as the 4s thread and the ipad mini thread :D :D :D Although he said that the issue which the mini has doesn't bother him but I bet you any money he secretly returned it! :D :p
 
I've had it to many times before. Find a fault, return it, get a new one with other things wrong with it.

The nexus 7 was a prime example and you guys know I was far from the only person to have problems.
 
Mine has an issue. There is a slight hissing / buzzing in the background when it plays any sound.

I can't hear it on headphones only the main speaker.

I'm not 100% sure it was like this when I got it, I think it might have developed.

Any more than 3 and mine starts messing up. You're not the only one. I'll keep you updated.
 
This phone is such good value for £150.

It would be absolutely crazy good value if you couldn't get a Nexus 4 for £240, but even so it's still an excellent price.
