I'm trying to find how fast the Corsair (performance) SP120s spin at 7v... But can't find any results.
Can anyone help please?

I had a pair of these but ive since removed them from my pc. Any speed over 1500 and they make a horrible whine when pressed against a radiator. At full speed they are very loud. They look nice, perform well but man they make the worst fan noise ive ever heard.

I replaced my two with some 1850 GT's and boy what a difference. Can barely hear the GT's at full speed and the noise you can hear is nice on the ears. Temps are about the same.

I'll be putting my pair on the MM soon.

EDIT

To try and answer your question not sure, but it will be around that speed maybe a tad lower.

I have heard a lot about these Corsair SP fans, heard they are not good. GT's just blow them out the water, and Noctua's imo are the best :D. But everyone tells me to get GT's so im gonna give them a shot :)

Cheers dude. GT 1850s are great i agree, probably the best. But they don't match my colour coordinated system :p

Ahhh i see... Maybe you can re-paint/colour dye the fans? I think i have seen a tutorial somewhere im not sure where though, maybe on another site.

That's why i got the sp120's initially Rossi, but man so glad i swapped.

I'm tempted, but it's pretty much the point of my last upgrade. Though i was planning on doing a push-pull setup with the H100i but i don't have the space because the my stupid motherboard's (case it partly to blame) VRM heatsink has a tiny bit trailing off and into the way.

Black part of the VRM heatsink above the main green part means i can't get another set of fans in there.

Never really a good idea unless you're very good at it. You can really screw up the balance spraying fans.
