It should but at 720p? Not sure, supposedly the one series phones and note ii hardware isn't capable of capturing slow motion footage at that 720p

Although I don't think Sony have implemented the feature anyway, couldn't see an option when I was playing with it the other day :(

Audio is much better too, the nexus 4 sounded awful :/

They should have had the HTC one S/X/XL instead of the nexus 4 as the low light performance on those phones is much better than the GS 3/note II.
 
Yeah, well the Note 2 serves for good comparison at least.

I thought the Z was quite impressive, looking considerably superior most of the time. Some parts of it were really very clear considering the lighting conditions.

Be interesting to see how the camera on the GS 4 and "one" will compare.

Can't get over just how much better the audio is on the note II and xperia Z compared to the N4.

Unfortunately it has! :( Damn google! Why couldn't they have gone with htc or Samsung again!!!!! :mad:

The N4 mic sounded like it had been obscured by the rig in some way, I wouldn't take that test as gospel.

HDR video is a nice step forward, if a little noisy :)

No 120fps? Bummer, maybe they're saving it for a firmware update (or Xperia ZT in 6 months :p)

Good point, however, just watching other videos, it sounds similar :(


Although that guy said the nexus 4 has the better audio at the end :confused: Unless he means audio quality produced from the phone via the loudspeaker/ear phones.......

I've just called my local Three store and asked about the free headphone offer. They said they cannot guarantee that I will be in the first 1000 customer pre-orders so getting the headphones will be a bit of a lottery as they cannot confirm what number my pre-order will be...

They said the same to me when I asked and was told they wouldn't know until the phones came in with or without the headphones...

I pre ordered the first day of the offer and the three store I used had just finished putting up the posters for the offer and hadn't sold any that day.

Wish it would hurry up and be released, although I still need to of load my GS3.

Video looks great, not a fan of the galaxy S3 camera as it's hit and miss with focusing! plus i've come to the realisation I hate white phones!
 
I've looked up these headphones on Amazon and they cost £180, not £300.

I decided to pre-order on Amazon as they were giving £50 worth of Amazon vouchers with pre-orders and doing it this way will mean less hassle with selling the headphones, getting the phone unlocked etc.

I bloody well hope so! I did ask in store at CPW if they'd gone past the first 1,000 pre-orders (or whatever the limit is), and they (possibly unhelpfully) said that as long as the offer is listed on their site then it should be honoured.

As Danielanthony says above, Sony list the headphones as worth £299, even though it is available for £170-ish on Amazon, so I factored in them fetching around £150 on eBay. The value works out pretty well tbh, if I didn't get on with the Z, and I sold that too, I'd have enough to buy something else sim free and still save overall. Let's just hope CPW don't balls up the headphones offer!
