What exactly do people expect?.
Small child + open door + nation with a small amount of wild animals big enough to harm a small child = undesirable outcome if repeated enough times.
Close the bloody doors if you have infants/toddlers knocking around the house - I'd be more worried about other people, dogs or cats than foxes anyway... Jesus Christ the people in this country are stupid sometimes.
But to blame a wild animal for doing what animals do is the stupid part, not leaving a door wide open (the easy method of preventing it).

Which is fine, but as long as you were willing to accept responsibility if you had a small child which then got injured by said animal.Seems kinda weird that people are saying don't leave your doors / windows open. I'd leave mine open if we ever had a nice day up here.
