Geforce Titan rumours.

hmmmm not sure i will get one at all!!

If i do it will be only one. I dont think the design will handle the kind of voltages I push.

No I have not tested one yet.

No Gregster. I have spoken with vendors with regard to them But not seen a sample myself. I do know they wont suit my volts as I have asked this question.

At least I know for sure they are real. I guess they will be locked down volts again then :(

It's sounding like Turbo clocks so I think you could safely guess locked bioses !

I actually think for you application, if you can run to 2 cards you will pick up tremendous performance over what you have without overclocking, and way bigger gains that a single card/monitor setup will see with 1 card.
Take the 6GB of memory...that's about 4GB too much for most users.

Really starting to think this card is going to be too rich for me, but I would really like to see someone enjoying 2 of these brutes :)

Even if I sell my 2 cards, the prices being touted are seriously scaring me but for sure I am deffo getting one. I will invest in another at a later date maybe or prices might be lower than expected and I can justify two.

With triple screens, I know the bus at 384 bit will give me great performance with 1 and 2 is the sweet spot. If the bus is 512 (which I have major doubts over), then 2 will have no holds on them at triple screen resolutions.

two 7950's stomp my 680's at triple screen res and when games like Crysis 3/Far Cry 3 warrant having all the detail on, I can't because 1) the frame returns are crap and 2) the VRAM isn't big enough.

6GB is overkill for sure but that extra grunt won't go unmissed.

You're putting a lot of faith in to these cards Greg, when a lot of the stuff going around is unconfirmed.

I think you'd be so much better off waiting until the 7 series comes out, if you're adamant that you're saying with nVidia, but sell your 680s and pick up some 7950s as a hold over and put the change towards faster cards in the future.

I think either one would be much more sensible than putting the amount of faith in to these cards as you're doing.

Personally, I'm a bit skeptical over these cards, but I hope you're going to wait for a sleuth of reviews before dropping any money anywhere.

My spending isn't confirmed till solid facts. I change my mind so often. Take what I say with a pinch of salt and if the rumours are miles off, I shant invest.

Yeah hes doing well with OCUK, i dont agree on some of his deals though, some have been cheesed up and the word FREE on some of the games doesnt make sense if the card went up in price when the games were slapped on it lol.

I smiled at that, but also read ATI spent 4 million with the game distributors !, that has to be recouped some how. same as titan, a few enthusiast pushing management for the card would not cut it, It would have to prove cost effective. It will not be what they call a "loss leader"

I don't think it's the case at all though. Prices aren't going up everywhere, and the presence of the games isn't solely to blame for the price increase, as I said in another thread, AMD cards were coming with a good bundle of games last year and yet weren't as highly priced as they are now.

For example, when I got my 7950s in december, I got loads of games with them, though partly due to the fact that I bought the Twin Frozr 3 cards which came with 6 games each, but I got 4 copies of Sleeping Dogs with it.

So yeah, when I got my 7950s, I paid £240 each for them and got 2 copies of Far Cry 3, 2 copies of Hitman Absolution, 2 copies of Modern Warfail 2, 2 Copies of Dirt Showdown, 2 Copies of Nexuiz, and 4 copies of Sleeping Dogs.

I think there will be two version, one faster than GTX 690 and other slightly slower.
faster one scored X7107 in 3d mark & slower one X5000 odd.
and also 300W & 235W respectively.

Based on the hot new graphics card launches from 5870 onwards I think the days of waiting a few weeks for launch day prices to settle down are gone. Both my 5870 and 680 were cheaper on launch day that a ~month later.

Totally agree. Best prices are generally launch day prices. Plus you get the benefit of use from day 1. Prices on these will definately go up due to availability.

I'm going to bag one if I can.
