Not for me ;)

Has anyone ever bought a pair online at all?

GF's bday soon and want to get her a pair, but seems certain sites are cheaper than others and wondered if any would be fake?

If to be safe I will buy from the official site, but thought I'd ask.

Thanks.

there are literally loads of sites selling fake uggs. I've heard of so many people getting caught out on tinternet. If it's cheaper than everywhere else, i'd steer well clear

Make sure you buy from the official site.

I have some of the mens Ugg slippers and they are awesome. Would never wear them out of the house though :p

Real Ugg's last just as long as the fakes! Dissapointed when I bought my GF a pair and the fakes out done then for 75% cheaper?

I'd completely disagree.

Bought my girlfriend a pair of reals, then a pair of fakes (different colour, discounted price but not terrible). They both got the same *amount* of use, the fakes absolutely fell apart after a few weeks.

The site should list a checker of where they sell them if you don't want to buy them direct from UGG. I bought mine from Shudoo but it looks like they have since gone bust.

I was bought a pair for Christmas by my mother but I've not yet worn them... I'm still wearing the fur lined Crocs she bought me a few years ago... seriously! lol

Mugg boots.

Over-priced, poorly made and tbh, not suitable for wearing outdoors in the UK!

haha I have some too, have them on now and they're damn comfy! I love them. I'd only get them from the actual online shop though. More fakes than reals around now.

It is amazing how overpriced these are in the UK. In the USA they are literally half the price.

Your totally right, i got dragged into ugg shopping in the US with the other half and she ended up buying 3 pairs  for the same price as one in the UK. And yes who was the one that had to carry the stupdily sized boxes around the malls...........muggings here :)

I think we ended up with about 3 pairs too - simply because it seemed daft not to (Well, not buying uggs at all would be better but you know what its like :p).

Obviously lots of things are cheaper in the US than the UK but the enormous margin of difference on Ugg boots was like nothing I'd seen before. It seems like the UK market is so obsessed them people will pay whatever for them, so the price is set accordingly.

If you wanted 3 pairs the £100 a pair saving might even justify a trip shopping in New York
