This is very true and I remember seeing the same on the 680.

If people want to wait for Titan prices to settle down, they will miss out. I can't see this card being on shelves long if some of the rumours are true and will probably end up like the Asus Mars II and go up in price in a collectors item style.

Titan will most certainly be discontinued before the release of the 7 series in my opinion.

Not sure about discontinued but I do feel you will only see a few more (depending on K20X orders). I am not sure how many K20X's they made but that will have a bearing on how many Titans will be made. I guess they could use the K20X silicon to make more Titans though but no idea if that would even be a viable option.

The Titans will not be around for long guys. The yield is so very low. The numbers for the entire of Europe are not many units at all.

To be fair there's a pretty simple workaround if there is a limit. Transfer the money to a trusted person and have them buy the 2nd card for you.

Are you suggesting these cores are specific to the Titan then ?...the story previously was they were failed K20 chips, which of all the rumours sounds the most logical to me :confused:

If they are released when I am off work, I could well do that. Few beers in the evening, hotel for the night and all ready to head for OcUK in the morning.

It is about an 8 hour drive for me but if the specs are close to truth, I will be making the drive
