Corsair 600W CXM Builder Modular 80 Plus Bronze PSU - ANY GOOD ?

as my topic heading really ..... i've ordered this blind from another site ....

will be used with my 965be , 6850 and samsung 840 .. with ram and mobo whose specs i don;t have to due to not been installed yet lol

will it last me a while ? will be upgrading the graphics card this year for sure

They are Corsair's budget psu's so they use lesser components. They are a good brand though so I wouldn't worry too much.

just got my pc back from the shop ( had new parts installed ) .....

the fan from the psu is making a funny noise ... almost like when you spin a wheel and high pitch bird chatter .... got me concerned to say the least . and its bloddy annoying as hell ... it did stop after about 15 mins but as soon as pooped a cd in drive it started again ....... and as i type its gone quite again .... any advice ?

noise has gone .. but just out of interest how much air would a psu fan blow ? and me being thick ... does it go into case our out the back ? as im not sure i can feel much going out the back ( never looked at it , gave it boxed to comp expert )

it depends how they mounted it, can be either way

and the fan on it doesnt spin that fast at idle, need to stress it for it to spin up

Same thing happened to me i got a new one and the same thing happened, changed to XFX and aint looked back since.

It will get progressively worse as time goes by, but i didn't wait around i just went to a local shop and got an XFX

i have the same psu and it works great no problems
