You mean a Player Career? I've got one going that I play every now and then. Into my 2nd season with Everton, after spending the first season on loan. Up to an 80 rated ST now I think, and turned down an offer from Barcelona as I knew I wouldn't get any game time there. When I'm rated high enough to make their starting 11 I'll consider it.
 
As a player at all. Career or not. The vast majority of conversation in this thread is/has been about FUT so I wondered if anyone actually dribbles a ball any more, or just watches from the dugout :o

Anyone got any thoughts on which strikers to go with? I was a big fan of Balotelli but I don't like picking players that have moved on in real life - anyone got any suggestions?

I was thinking of trying IF Walcott at ST - has anyone used him and is he any good?

Also, is the SIF Cazorla worth the extra over the IF??
 
How the hell do you upload a goal properly on the PS3!?!?!?!

I scored the best free kick I've ever managed the other night, selected the view just behind the taker and proceeded to upload - what I actually uploaded was the view from my keeper's perspective and even then all I got was some tiny specs in the distance running off towards the corner flag celebrating the goal!?!?!?!? :confused:
 
I honestly thought I had though!?!?

I rewound the action until well before I struck the ball and the angle was the one just behind the target (player taking the kick) and elevated slightly.

I then pressed triangle to upload and it then seemed to change the view completely!?!?

Are there some other settings I should be looking at??
 
You probably viewed the camera and edited it outside of the recording window and didnt check that the camera within that window was the same and not something entirely different.

The EA replay system is actually pretty good, with multiple 'edits/stop' you can make a replay with multiple camera positions and differing speeds aswell as manual pans and zooms, just muck about with the settings, just be aware where you are within the recording window and edit.

So do I need to save it locally to the PS3 first, edit it somehow and then upload to EA??? I couldn't see any settings other than triangle for "Upload" and naturally assumed it would upload what I was looking at!?!?!?

He's a beast imo - loved his NIF ahead of the higher rated Mata & Silva etc - I can actually afford his SIF but it's a huge leap in coins to get him!

No you just 'film' the replay to your like and upload it, I think you pressed some buttons and were unaware of additional settings you added (like dpad up and down adds/deletes camera changes, L3 adds/removes slowmo so forth) so when you uploaded it it picked them up, or while you were uploading it you were fiddling with the controller (it still does stuff (I use it for manual pan/zoom) for the first half of the upload while its rerunning the footage to compress it into a video before the actual upload)

Ive used the system for the last 4 FIFAs and it hasnt changed much at all, guess you are new to what you can do with it :confused:

Most definitely!

Gutted too as I really struggle with free kicks and it was a proper top left hand corner job with Gareth Bale! :D
I'll have a play about with the replays to see if I can get the hang of things!

Has anyone tried IF Suarez?? I really rate his NIF but the IF is circa 340,000 coins! :eek:

Off top of my head:

L1/R1 - cycles between player/ball focus if you are in the free camera
L2/R2 - rewinds and forwards replay
Dpad up/down - allows you to add/remove camera edits - so you can change the camera type and position for a section
Dpad left/right - skips to a camera edit point but also once at that point allows you to move the edit point frame by frame
L3 - add/remove slowmo
Square - change camera

Im sure its dpad up that selects the timed recording window initially too, cant remember the other face buttons, but they are the more obvious ones (like R3 is taking a screenshot), perhaps its in the manual? Doubt most use all the edit features for replays, when Ive watch the ones on here, they are usually pretty poor (far from action with a poor camera usually). Though some just use their cameraphone and upload to youtube off that, which is usually much easier and doesnt have the silly time restriction that EA have for uploads.

Read the manual!?!?!?!?! Are you mad???? Never done it before and don't intend to start now!!!!!!! :D
 
I wouldn't mind playing some of you guys at least I know i'd be getting humped by OCUK guys instead of random frenchies lol

Got beat 20-0 last night would have been more but I spent the last 10 minutes passing back to my goalie. (Should have done that for the whole of the 2nd half.) I'm in Div 5 even there there are players with teams full of rares 4.5 stars and 100%.

He was a good player though actually a great player. Was good to watch even though I was getting humped. Get more annoyed losing 2-1 than 20-0 hehe

Having problems with EA servers though when I start playing cup games against AI it loads plays for 2-3 minutes on the clock then disconnects and I lose a contract. Was 5 points away from not having any money to field a team after it did it 4 times in a row last night.

Only seems to do it with the AI I've not disconnected from an online game against someone.

I think I'll start getting some pacy gold players for tonight.

Much as I hate the AH sometimes as someone always seems to be sniping my buys with last second bids, it feels sooooooooooo good to be just about to pull the trigger on a BIN purchase and I decide to do a last minute check and find the player, in the right formation with 59 minutes and 57 seconds to go, 10 grand cheaper than I was about to pay, saving me around 17k!!!!! :p
