So, after almost 15 weeks out of work, I can say that I'm not longer unemployed
After several job interviews and rejections, I hit a low point... it's very demoralising as I'm sure many know.
I got a rejection letter today for a job that I really wanted and had an interview today for a job (call centre). It's min wage and not what I want to be doing but it's getting me back in employment. I felt that the interview went well and 10mins after the interview, on the way home I got a call to offer me a job... I start tomorrow at 10am
I'm going to go in with no expectations and you never know, I may end up liking it. I just feel like a weight has been lifted as I literally have £20 to my name. It's going to be so difficult as I've not been to bed before 2am in the past 15 or so weeks lol.
I'm chuffed, again... it's not a job that I would have liked but it's a job. I'll continue looking for a job when in this job and after all, they do say it's easier to get a job when you're in a job.
