Nvidia’s F2P in-game cash bundle

Fair comments Nelly. I can see the credits can be sold and people will buy it. I am relying on others for how much, because this is the first I have heard of free to play.

You could always buy the games from the AMD buyers though :)

What a stupid thing to say. I should hardly be surprised though.

Pot, kettle, black :(

Every thread you derail and come in with a stupid comment like you did with this thread. Rusty picked up on it and you didn't like it.

LOL ^

Anyway.

after seeing the REAL offer with Nvidia cards i take back my view.

£100 of ingame money is not bad... If i was a fan of said games i would be swayed

Its not bad if you're actually going to play those games, re-sale may be a little tougher then selling on the AMD packs (I paid £30 for my crysis 3 + BS:I pack btw ;)).

At least you're getting something for nothing, though I'd rather Nvidia just knock £33 off of their top line GPU prices :p

I can't believe people are saying the in game gold wont sell for near it's value. People will always buy this in game stuff so if they can save a few quid they would rather buy the codes.

It's different with the AMD games, all the games in the bundle people knew would be in the steam sale and offered cheap elsewhere that's why people didn't get close to the RRP value when being re-sold. Hitman and Sleeping dogs were selling for £7.50 each the other week on square enix website. You will never find each of those in game codes for that price as it rarely ever goes on sale and if you look around for websites what sell the codes they are just a shade under what you'd pay in game.

Not really. Loads of people sold their Hitman games for more, I got £16 for mine.

Far Cry 3 also went for £16 too, which was the going rate. Farcry 3 wasn't in the Steam sales for a great discount, so it's not really the reason.

£16 is still around 50% of the value they were worth on release. These in game codes nvidia are doing you will not find for 50% unless you are extremely lucky. I'm still sticking with what I said I think you could get £80 for these, that's knocking around £6 off each one which is a decent saving compared to buying in game.

In practice, I don't believe you would get £80.

As I said, you're more likely to find someone who wants Bioshock Infinite, or Crysis 3 than someone who wants in game credits.

I agree you're more likely to find people who'd want those games but it doesn't make them more expensive as many people wait it out for sales or buy the cd keys of dodgy websites or pirate the game.

These codes don't fall into any of those categories so they hold close to their in game value.

I paid £24 for both Far Cry 3 and Hitman. Good for me but I am sure you will see the codes for Bioshock and Crysis 3 this low soon enough.

If the in game gold goes for close to £80, that is good. Again, I have no idea and wouldn't argue with anyone who knows better.

I agree, these are single player games and will be pirated a lot! This has really ruined PC gaming.

But i still think its going to be easier to sell then credits like i mentioned before and as spoffle has stated, just because these games are bit hits, they are all sequels so people have been waiting for them. Surely once they go into the sales on steam then they are worth pretty much nothing.

As you know im stuck with some game codes myself from the last bundle offer lol.

Without doubt as I said above the game codes AMD offer will sell quicker. I just believe these nvidia codes will hold their value from the research I have done. They will also eventually sell as long as you're patient and don't keep dropping the price for a quick sale.

What they should have done is stuck some WOW gold in there? Im sure that sells for loads?

My old email account is flooded with wow gold sites and i didnt even have wow on that account!

Maybe some DOTA 2 Items, they sell for stupid ammounts!

Nvidia is buddies with Blizzard? Try Diablo 3 Gold?

WOW and D3 gold is worthless because of the amount of bots/gold farmers in game.

I think nvidia are just trying a different approach. I doubt it will work myself, but I disagree with the people who've said this bundle is worthless.

That doesn't actually mean they hold their value, it means that they are less desirable, so may sell at a higher price, if you find someone who wants to buy it, and I think the "if" part is the important bit.

I think most people would struggle to sell them.

I'm not saying they're worthless, I'm just saying that it comes across as cheap/tight considering you're paying more money for less performance as it is.

That to me is good reason for them to try and better AMD's deal, instead of this one, which looks a bit half arsed.

Spoffle has said everything i did last night lol.

I see your point ACE but like above it is cheesey either way, they could have chucked a couple of games in instead.

The worthless bit wasn't aimed at you fella. More directed at some of the comments on the first page. Also being less desirable would not make them hold their value. World of Tanks and Planetside 2 are actually really popular and it's only Hawken I think it would maybe take time to get the code sold.
